How do I open Net Support

Net Support allows CCD Helpdesk to dial into your system when there is a problem. You need to have Net Support active in order for us to do this. Instructions are available for the following operating systems:

Microsoft Windows

  1. Go to CONTROL PANEL
  2. DOUBLE CLICK: On ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS
  3. DOUBLE CLICK on SERVICES
  4. Is CLIENT 32 running? It should say CLIENT 32 - STARTED - AUTOMATIC/MANUAL. If it doesn't, highlight CLIENT 32 and then select the START button.
  5. There should then be a green/blue icon on the System Tray where the clock is. If you run your mouse over it, it should say "Net Support Client".
